Interest
I research the neuromodulation of olfactory behavior through pharmacological and genetic manipulations. Specifically, I have studied the effects of endocannabinoids, oxytocin, and vasopressin on olfactory perception in mice. I am also interested in translational research between olfactory neuroscience and clinical psychology, and I plan to investigate the role of olfaction in human psychological disorders. Eventually, I would like to research the effects of clinically relevant psychoactive compounds such as psilocybin on behavior and neural circuitry.
